The only suit that calms the body and the ears — using the NeuroWrap Method™
After 6 years of dreading every storm, every firework, every loud bang — this is the first July 4th I actually enjoyed. She settled within 20 minutes and didn't move from the couch all evening.Deborah K. — Golden Retriever owner, 9 years
The problem
You know the look. The trembling. The panting. The desperate search for somewhere — anywhere — to hide. And you're standing there feeling completely helpless.
You've done everything the internet suggests:
Here's what most products miss: anxiety enters through two channels — the body and the ears. Address only one and you're solving half the problem.
The HushPup Anxiety Suit is the first garment built around both. The NeuroWrap Method™ — body and ears, together.
Two modes in one suit
Not every day is a thunderstorm. The HushPup is designed to adapt to your dog's anxiety level — not the other way around.
30-day results — 1,247 customers surveyed
The step-by-step routine to introduce the suit, build positive association, and get the best results from day one. Used by 721+ dog owners.
Built to a standard
Every claim we make has a mechanism behind it. Here's the research that underpins the NeuroWrap Method™.
Activates the parasympathetic "rest and digest" response — the same mechanism used in human sensory therapy.
Calibrated to activate the calm response without restricting movement or causing discomfort.
Loud, sudden sounds are the primary anxiety driver in dogs. Body-only wraps leave this channel open.
Breathable poly-spandex blend. Extended wear tested. No compression loss after repeated laundering.
Certified force-free trainers have long observed this limitation. Compression addresses the body's anxiety response — but when the auditory trigger continues, the nervous system stays activated.
"80% of dogs show improvement with body-only compression. The 20% who don't respond are almost always noise-phobic dogs — where the auditory channel is the primary pathway."
HushPup was built specifically for that 20% — and for the 80% who already benefit from body compression, adding auditory isolation means even greater calm.

Questions
The ThunderShirt is a solid product — but it only addresses body anxiety through DPS. It leaves the auditory channel completely uncovered, which is the primary anxiety pathway for most noise-phobic dogs.
HushPup adds the integrated ear hood to address both triggers simultaneously. Many customers come to us after the ThunderShirt provided partial but not complete relief.
Also: ThunderShirt uses velcro fastenings — the ripping sound of velcro can actually trigger panic in noise-sensitive dogs. HushPup uses a smooth pull-on stretch design.
This is the most common concern — and understandably so. The ear hood applies very gentle compression, not a tight seal. Most dogs who are noise-phobic actually find immediate relief from it.
We recommend introducing it gradually: let your dog sniff the suit first, then try the hood outside of trigger situations. Within a few days, most dogs actively seek the suit out. If your dog is very resistant, use open-head mode only until they've built positive association.
Most dog owners report visible calming within 10–20 minutes of fitting. Some dogs take a few sessions to associate the suit with feeling safe — we recommend putting it on 5–10 minutes before a known trigger (like when you see storm clouds) rather than during peak panic.
Measure your dog's chest at its widest point (just behind the front legs) and their neck circumference. Use the size chart in the Size Guide section above — if between sizes, always go up.
The suit needs to be snug for the compression to work, but you should be able to slide two fingers underneath. We offer free exchanges within 30 days if you need a different size.
Shipping takes 15–20 days to the US. We know that's not instant — and we're upfront about it. Every order includes a tracking number from day one so you can follow your package. If your dog needs something urgently, we recommend ordering early ahead of storm season or known events like July 4th.
That's exactly what our 30-day money-back guarantee is for. If your dog isn't visibly calmer after 30 days, email us and we'll refund every cent — no questions asked. You don't even need to return the suit.

The suit is designed for extended wear including sleep. For washing: machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or air dry flat. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners — they can degrade the stretch properties. The suit maintains its compression after repeated washing.
